Chicago Public Library's One Book, One Chicago in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Cultural Alliance and WBEZ 91.5 Chicago present Bounty, an exploration of themes at the intersection of culture, cuisine, agriculture and heritage.

Join us for this two-part series that connects our dinner tables with art, culture and the larger world in response to the 2016 book selection Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver.

Join reporter Monica Eng of WBEZ 91.5 Chicago in conversation with Chicago Cultural Alliance members: the Chinese-American Museum of Chicago; the Haitian American Museum of Chicago; the Ethiopian Community Association of Chicago; and the Indo American Heritage Museum. Chef and restaurateurs speakers include: Ranjani Bhargava, Myrtha Briette, Almaz Yigizaw, and Alvin Yu. They will discuss the complexities of food and its resonance with people, place and tradition.
