The museum will do its best to accommodate your requests, but we cannot guarantee that all requests can be fulfilled. Once we receive your submission, we will send an email with possible dates for an interview. For questions or concerns, please reach out to visit@camochicago.org.

Research Request and Collection Access

The Chinese American Museum of Chicago encourage the use of our Collections and Archives for research, publication, educational, and community heritage purposes. The CAMOC Collections and Archives is open to researchers Tuesday to Saturday with the exception of Thursday afternoons. Appointments are available in two (2) hour intervals from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm. A researcher may make back-to-back appointments if that is needed to complete their work.

To make an appointment, please fill out the following form as thoroughly as possible and submit it at least four (4) weeks prior to the desired dates. Once the form is received, our Collections staff will contact you to discuss your research, confirm the availability of materials, and schedule a visit.
